Treatment and recirculation of cooling water Water treatment in the steel industry

The main application in the steel industry is the treatment and recirculation of cooling water, which is e.g. needed in continuous casting or rolling operations. Here, the coarse scale which is formed during cooling is usually separated with solids separators (screw classifiers, screw separators). The floating solids can then be filtered off via continuous sand filters, so that the now almost solids-free water can be cooled and lead back to the process.

Another application is the extraction of fresh water, for example by the treatment of river water. Our products can also be used in the field of furnaces e.g. be used in the treatment and recirculation of gas washing water. For dewatering of (scale) sludge our vacuum belt filter is used.
