The central waste water treatment unit of a car manufacture had to be upgraded and brought to the state of the art. The substantial components of the plant were: Chromate decontamination, emulsion
splitting, coagulation, pre-neutralisation, neutralization, flocculation, sedimentation over a lamella separator and a final pH - inspection.
In addition the necessary storage and buffer tanks as well as the different proportioning plants were present.
At this plant the old lamella separator had to be renewed, as well as a gravel filter plant to be supplemented.
As this alteration was connected with changes of the steel structure, disassembly and assembling of periferer plants and on and evacuation of the lamella separator with heavy lifting equipment in the restrained premises, a change in the Christmas Holidays was originally planned.
By an accurate process planning already in the calculation phase the company Leiblein could suggest a weekend change to the customer.
This suggestion was gladly accepted, since it was connected with substantially less expenditure and costs.
In autumn 2002 then the change could be accomplished on one weekend by an accurate and detailed preparation as well as a precise operational sequence (even still some hours more would have been available!!).
