practical conditions
The waste water of a brewery is treated in a company owned treatment plant. Because of increasing production and increasing waste water, it was necessary to enlarge the treatment plant.
To safe costs, not the whole treatment plant was enlarged, only the efficiency of the single process steps should be increased.

picture 1: LEIBLEIN lamella separator
function specifications:
The solution was the installation of a Leiblein-lamella separator after the primary treatment. The lamella separator separates the majority of the sludge. The sludge is pumped back to the primary treatment.
