practical conditions
The drain water from a train washing plant should be treated before the discharge into the channel. Therefor a diaphragm unit should be used. To reach better operating lifes of the diaphragms a precleaning plant for the drain water should be installed.

At first the drain water is filtrated thriugh an inclinded filter, the filtrate is collected in a filtate tank and the sludge is discharged.
A coalescence separator removes the unattached oils.
Finally the water flows into a reaction vessel to sediment the dissolved materials.
The final treatment happens through ultrafiltration.
