Mobile lamella separators

The usage of lamella separators are in the case where settleable particles should be separated from liquids.

Often applications are for example:

• vegetable / sugar industry
• construction works (e.g. tunnel construction)
• environmental decontamination
• maintenance at sewage treatment plants
• chemical industry
• process test with a prototype plant
• other short dated applications

Different types of lamella separators are available in a short time. The separators are designed to assemble and disassemble it with low construction expense. The smaller types are ready for use, at the bigger ones the food construction is disassembled for transport.

Several additional equipment is available. For example:

• pumps
• tubes / hosts
• scrapers
• reaction tanks
• dosing stations for flocculants

Example for a usage:

The washing water of a sand washing plant is pumped to the lamella separator. A flocculant is added before the inlet to the lamella separator. The usage of flocculants guarantee an optimal sedimentation in the lamella separator and an optimal clarity of the clear water. The sludge of the lamella separator is conveyed to a belt filter press for further thickening and draining. The clear water of the lamella separator flows into a basin to use it again as washing water.
