Leiblein-precoat filter are used, when a filtration in the range of about 1 µm is neccessary. They work most effectively, if low concentrations with firm, fine impurities are filtered.

construction

The precoat filter is a cylindrical pressure tank with a conical bottom. A perforated candle plate separates the lower container part with liquid inlet from the upper container part, the filter cathedral. The arrangement of the filter candles is adapted to the respective task.

Before the actual filtration a filter aid is floated to relatively far filter meshes of the filterkerzen (usually approx. 130 µm). This filter aid covers the candles and forms a very fine filter, which is able to hold particles of size 1 µm, sometimes even smaller.

Outstanding filter results are obtained by this filter technology.
