Environmental and nature protection, more exactly, keeping clean our precious raw material water, is always in the center of our developments and products. Since in the middle of May we also do our active part to brake the increasing pollution of air.

In co-operation with the council-services Buchen and MVV Mannheim we installed a solar plant with an output of 99 KW peak (maximum power) on the roofs of our production halls. Owing to the untiring employment of our employees, who accomplished nearly the complete mechanical installation, partly in large heat and in numerous overtime and manufactured a large part of the mounting plates for the 440 solar modules, the plant was established in the record-suspicious time by only six weeks.

Since then the largest solar plant of the "Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis" is located in Hardheim and produces so much current that over 30 households receive green electric current year by year. Thus over 60 tons of CO₂-emission are prevented annually.
