history of Leiblein GmbH

In 1953 Otto Leiblein founded the company "Otto Leiblein Fahrzeugbau". Areas of production were trailer- and steel construction. In these days, the company was located in the "Klingenweg" 2 in Hardheim. Within the years more and more homes enclosed the are, enlargement wasnt possible. This was the reason for the later relocation.

Junior executive Dipl. Ing. Alex Leiblein took over the company in 1988. "Otto Leiblein Fahrzeugbau" became "Leiblein GmbH" when the company was signed in the commercial register. He changed the production from trailer building to environment and effluent technology, as the prospects were better in this branch. Steel construction was maintained in order to build the plants and as a second standing leg.

After the completion of the new company buiding, the company moved to the industrial are "Tiefer Weg" in Hardheim in 1992. In this time the personnel consisted of 7 employees and Mr. Leiblein. 3 in the office, 5 in the production.

Within a short period of time, the company expanded and in 1995, a varnishing plant and warehouse was built. In 1998 the construction of a second, bigger production facility was started, as the products became bigger and bigger and the company run out of space.

In those ne buildings, the company expanded more and more. In 1999 a connection shed between the two production facilitys, which is used as a goods reception and dispatch department, was built, as well as an extenshion of the varnishing plant which is used as a sandblast plant.
As the office was more and more overcrowded, the construction of a new office was started in 2002 and completed in 2003.
Therefore the expansion can go on.
